We had a pleasant stay for one night.
All good - we enjoyed this low budget hotel - the food was fresh and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Asked for twin room and it was new-fashioned in the attic space. The location was handy, close to restaurants and bars. Had brunch in the The Quadrant, located nearby. The restaurant was really nice and reasonably priced, with good food and atmosphere. Everything was simply modern.

Fairly clean, reasonable value hotel, the location was marvellous and beautiful close to bus stops right outside the door to get into the city center or further afield and the center. Very nice and exceptional staff, free wake up service and ironing available. Neat rooms with the men's toilets, real coffee plus complimentary tea/coffee:)))

the bed was a little hard and might need to be replaced

Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast, the room very lovingly furnished and prepared, many good restaurants nearby. A classic hotel (not a modern building) where you get everything you need for a pleasant stay.
Toilet flushing often took 4-5 attempts.

great stay with some room for improvement
The evening staff excelled in making our room change seamless, being accommodating with everything we needed. The cleanliness of the room left a positive impression, and it felt cute for our family.
While the overall experience was enjoyable, the room could benefit from a few modern updates.

I liked the fact that they had fruit, tea, coffee, tea maker and biscuits in the room. I found the room furnishings very good. Moreover, the rooms and the bathroom were very clean.
The windows could not be closed properly. The windows need renovation. You could hear the street noise very well.

No elevator, the ascent to the top floor with suitcase requires fitness and surefootedness

Possibly the best fitted small hotel room I have ever stayed in. Lovely original georgian sash window with nice outlook. Effective lined curtains. Good quality radio (almost unheard of these days). Good restaurant. Nice people.
Could do with thermostatic control on the shower.

Location very convenient for public transport; hotel makes good use of vintage architecture in an attractive and characterful area of Bristol.

Just an appropriate option for a quick weekend visit in Bristol with reasonable value. The complimentary fruit was a nice touch.

The rooms were very comfortable and it had a homely feel to it.
Despite requesting a quiet room at the time of booking, I was given a room facing out onto a busy road and was told it was not possible to change. Also, the curtains were very thin and did not block out the bright lights from the high street so my sleep was very disturbed.
